Science & Math Education Resource Center

August Elementary Science Kit Trainings

Districts have indicated that they will have few new teachers and mostly grade level changes this year. The summer training will be structured so that it will be possible for teachers to get training on all the kits they will use during the year. New Offering this year is Science Kit Additions. One or more investigations in Pebbles, Sand & Silt, Earth Materials and Air & Weather kits have been expanded to better meet the Revised Washington State Standards and to fill the "gaps" between what the kit provides and what the standards actually say. If you have used these kits in the past, find out how to use the additional materials and background information.
