About TV ETC

The Vancouver Educational Telecommunications Consortium (TV ETC), a designated Educational Access provider, has been serving the educational community of Clark County, Washington since 1979. TV ETC represents public, private and state education in the county serving a variety of educational institutions, consortium members, and the City/County Telecommunications Commission.

TV ETC links the community and schools in Clark County. Through its three Comcast Cable channels, schools provide access to valuable local and national educational and informational programs. We believe cable television plays a vital role in communications and serves as an informational tool for local educators.

Obtaining Copies on DVD

You can now order DVD copies of our locally produced programs online.

Programs that carry copyrighted material cannot be duplicated or sold by TV ETC. However most of the local programs such as sporting events, concerts and school assemblies are available for private use and can be purchased through TV ETC.

Channel 27

Programming from local area schools featuring sports, concerts, special events, and ESD 112 Instructional Resource Center educational programming via satellite down-link. Classical Arts Showcase is on every day between 8 am and 5 pm.

Channel 28

Informative and educational programming produced by local schools, monthly and weekly magazine style series, featuring Clark County Schools and students. Monthly magazine "Education News, Parents Can Use" from Washington DC, produced by the Department of Education.

Channel 29

Programming from local area schools featuring sports, concerts and special events in addition to a variety of educational programming. Classical Arts Showcase is on every day between 10 pm and 8 am (the next day).
